Paramount’s Massive UFC Deal: Why 2026 Is Going To Change MMA Forever: The UFC has had a lot of big moments in its history, but the new seven-year deal with Paramount might end up being one of the biggest shifts the sport has ever seen. Starting in 2026, Paramount+ becomes the exclusive home of every UFC event in the United States , ending the long-running pay-per-view model and completely changing how fans get to watch fights. This partnership doesn’t just move UFC fights onto a new platform—it marks the first time fans will be able to watch all 13 numbered events and all 30 Fight Nights with nothing more than a subscription. No extra charges, and no more pay-per-view. Dana White summed it up perfectly when he said, “This deal puts UFC amongst the biggest sports in the world.” And honestly, he's right. A Streaming Deal That Reaches Way Beyond the U.S. The original announcement back in August revealed that Paramount+ will stream all UFC events in the United States. Then in ...

Netflix’s $72 Billion Move to Buy Warner Bros: The Deal That Could Reshape Entertainment Forever: Netflix shocked Hollywood this December by announcing a massive $72 billion deal to buy Warner Bros.’ film and streaming divisions. 18- News App Critique - Isaiah Calvert

Image
Apple News Apple News is one of the most widely used news apps, and at first glance, it sets a high standard for presentation. The design is clean, organized, and easy to navigate, with headlines laid out in a way that feels familiar even to new users. It pulls stories from a wide range of reputable outlets, which gives it a strong mix of national, international, entertainment, and niche coverage. The search function works smoothly, the layout adjusts well to different devices, and the app generally succeeds at presenting news in a visually appealing way. However, once you start actually trying to read the stories it recommends, the weaknesses become impossible to ignore—especially the paywalls. Apple News often promotes articles that require an Apple News+ subscription or a subscription to an individual publication. This means that a large portion of the most important or in-depth stories are locked behind paywalls, sometimes even when the headline is featured on the front page...

Both soldiers came from tight-knit West Virginia communities, and the state has held vigils and tributes to honor them. Despite claims made after the attack, officials say he underwent thorough vetting before entering the country. He had recently been granted asylum in April but was reportedly struggling with severe mental health issues. Authorities still have not identified a clear motive and say the investigation is ongoing. Lakanwa...
