YouTube star Jack Doherty was arrested in Miami for drug possession charges- 

YouTube star Jack Doherty was arrested in the Miami area Saturday on drug-related charges.

He was filming video content while attempting to engage with police officers in the middle of the road, blocking traffic in the process.


He was then apprehended, before a police search found "half of an orange oval-shaped pill with 3 imprinted on it, consistent with a Schedule II amphetamine", and three "suspected cannabis cigarettes".

Doherty, 22, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and resisting an officer without violence, according to online booking records. The charging records also show possession of amphetamine.

If he is found guilty on all of the charges he faces, he will be looking at a Third-degree felony, which would land him up to five years in prison and a $ 5,000 fine. and a first-degree misdemeanor, up to one year in jail, and a $ 1,000 fine.

The YouTube star has more than 15 million followers on the platform, plus over 10 million followers on TikTok and more than 3 million on Instagram.

Doherty’s videos often center on performing pranks or stunts and have incendiary titles such as “I accidentally started a riot” and “someone stole my Lamborghini."

Hours before his arrest, Doherty posted videos of himself on a yacht in Miami and livestreamed his night out on the app Parti.

It is unclear if he has an attorney, and a representative his bond has been set at $3,500. (NBC)

  Suicide bombing in Islamabad kills 12, says Pakistan's interior minister - A suicide attack outside a court in Pakistan's capital Islamabad, has killed 12 people and injured at least 27 more, the country's interior minister.  Mohsin Naqvi said a bomber was planning to attack the district courthouse but was unable to get inside. Naqvi said authorities would prioritize identifying the bomber, and that those involved would be brought to justice. Jumaat Ul Ahrar, a splinter group of the Pakistani Taliban has claimed responsibility. But two local journalists have told the BBC that the central leadership has sent messages to them saying it has no link to the explosion. Suicide blasts in Islamabad have been rare in recent years.
